bu dan nolis-
I beg to point out that the levelling and reclaiming of the area of Crown Land described in Subsection 4 of Section 4 of the Harbour of Refuge Ordinance 1909 is one of the works authorised by that Ordinance and to repeat that the alteration in the level of Reclamation Street was undertaken with
to such reclama-

The Representation of the attitude of the
Government put forward in your letter is not correct.
The Government cannot admit or reject any claim before it is made. Any claim put forward under the Ordi- -nance will be decided in manner prescribed by Section 12 of the
Ordinance.
I do not see any necessity for the determina- -tion of such claims to stand over till the Autum and would
point out that particulars of all claims should have been deliver- -ed before 31st. December, 1909.
Yours etc.. FB. L. Bowby. (Sd.) Crown Solicitor.
